POTTSBORO
Edwin Lee Pearson, 71, died Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.
Ed was born in Dallas, Texas on August 6, 1946, the son of William Leonard and Hazel Hawkins Pearson. He and Deborah Mitchell were married on April 15, 2000 in Pottsboro, TX. He attended University of Texas at Dallas. He was the president of Cullen Davis Companies in Ft. Worth, TX for many years before coming to Pottsboro to work as a realtor. He was the owner of The Pearson Group Property Company and was a member of Faith Church in Sherman.
Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. Saturday, March 3, 2018 at Faith Church, with the funeral service following at 3:00 p.m. Officiating will be Pastor Ryan Cernero, Reverend Zachary Mitchell, Reverend David Gilbert and Caleb Dupuis. Burial will follow in Georgetown Cemetery.
Serving as his pallbearers are: Matt Pressley, Ron Mitchell, Kim Johnson, Paul Oswalt, Steve Mitchell and Danny Dutton. Honorary pallbearers will be: Robbie Pearson, Ronnie Johnson, David Johnson, Tommy Cloud and Glenn Cooper. Orchestra and choir will be directed by Todd Estes. Ed is survived by his wife, Deborah Pearson of Pottsboro; sons, Tobey Pearson and his husband Adam Kocian; Jason Pearson and his wife Liz; and Jason Brown; daughter, Jody Braley and her husband Jason; sister-in-law, Carolyn Bennett-Pearson; and grandchildren Anna Brown, Juliet, Jacqueline and Jacob Braley, Hazel and Eden Pearson.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Robert Pearson and Leonard Pearson.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home in Denison.
