Eunice Fay (Johnson) Bell, 91, of Pottsboro passed away on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 in Plainview, Texas. She was born on April 27, 1925 in Hagerman, Texas to Sidney A. and Eunice (Jones) Johnson.
Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 17, 2017 at Hagerman Cemetery.
Eunice Fay attended Denison High School. She married Leon Robinson Bell on July 6, 1942 in Lubbock, Texas. She was a school bus driver, stay at home mom, and beautician in Kress, Texas where the couple lived after World War II. After Leon retired from the Santa Fe Railroad, the couple moved to Pottsboro and farmed. She was of the Presbyterian faith then later became of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include a daughter, Ruby Fay Bell Teaschner of Dimmitt; two grandchildren, Andrew Teaschner of Tucumcari, NM and Terri Beth Teaschner of New Braunfels, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon Bell, 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
