Lewis G. O’Neal, 69, died on Friday, March 25, 2016 at Woodlands Rehab in Denison.
Family visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel.
Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 31, 2016 at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel with Reverend Neal Alexander officiating. Burial will follow at Georgetown Cemetery of Mr. O’Neal’s ashes.
Lewis was born August 20, 1946 in Rusk, Texas, the son of Billy Glenn and Lucille Lewis O’Neal. He graduated from Stephen F. Austin University and was a branch manager for Texans Credit Union. Lewis and Connie Waggoner were married in Pottsboro on August 30, 1985.
He is survived by his wife, Connie O’Neal of Pottsboro; daughter, Kilee Adley and her husband, Kelley of Prosper, Texas; mother-in-law, Martha Waggoner of Durant, OK; brother, Billy Jack O’Neal and his wife, Felice of Rusk, TX; sister, Cheryl Watson and her husband, David of Rusk, TX; brother-in-law and his wife, Wendyl and Debbie Waggoner of Savoy; sister-in-law and her husband, Kim Waggoner Robinson and John of Cherry Mound; one grandchild, Kade Adley; nephews, Tanner Waggoner and Trent O’Neal and nieces, Chelsea Jordan and Macie Neal.
Lewis was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Roger O’Neal; father-in-law, Bill Waggoner and niece, Ashley Sanders.
The family suggests memorials to American Cancer Society, 8900 Carpenter Freeway, Dallas, TX 75247.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.

    I was saddened to read this. I knew Lewis from my many years at TI. He was so easy going and I enjoyed our discussions from time to time. I did not know that he had been sick. When I saw him at this house as I was driving by I would always give a honk.
