Dorothy A. Phillips

Dorothy A. Phillips, 82, passed away on Monday, December 28, 2015 at Texoma Medical Center.
Dorothy was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey on September 15, 1933, the daughter of Dean W. and Zelma McColl Towner. She was educated in Solomon, Kansas. She and William Phillips were married on September 2, 1961 in Enid, Oklahoma.
She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, a homemaker and a member of VFW Post #7873 Auxiliary in Pottsboro.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, William “Bill” Phillips of Pottsboro; son, Tom Martin and his wife, Jo Mary of Lewisville, Texas; daughter, Kathy Jennings and her husband, David of Bedford, Texas; brother, Dean C. Towner of Salina, Kansas; nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Dean E. Martin; daughters; Wendy L. Phillips and Emily A. Nelson.
Family visitation will be 6:00-7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel. Funeral services will be 2:00 Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel with Deacon Gary Vogel officiating.
