VAN ALSTYNE-
Ida Mae Worley, 87 of Van Alstyne, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2015 with her loving family by her side.
She was born on April 3, 1928 in Moosic, PA. to Angelo and Caroline Marsala Socciarelli. Ida attended school in Bridgeport, Conn. and later married Earl Worley on May 13, 1947 in Hyattsville, MD. Mrs. Worley was a loving homemaker who cherished her family. She loved to crochet and she made all of her children and grandchildren afghans to hold dear to them in her memory. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 8, 2015 at Lakeway United Methodist Church in Pottsboro. Reverend Alan Snider will be officiating. Family visitation will be held one hour prior to service time at the church. Burial will take place at Albert Cemetery in Mountain Top, PA.
Survivors include her daughters, Sharon (Ron) Janson of Pottsboro, and Carolyn Kramer of Van Alstyne; sons, Wayne Worley of Pottsboro and William Worley of Oregon. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Earl; son, Earl Daniel Jr., grandson William Worley; and brother, Sach Socciarelli
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to The Alzheimers Association, Greater Dallas Chapter, 4144 N. Central Expressway, Suite 750, Dallas, TX 75204-3208
