Troy Lee Mullican, 80 year old resident of Denison died on Monday, August 10, 2015 at the Denison Manor.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 13, 2015 at Georgetown Cemetery in Pottsboro. Reverend Jim Branscum will officiate.
There is no family night scheduled however the funeral home will be open until 5 p.m. for friends to pay their respects.
Troy was born in Hunt County, Texas on October 26, 1934, the son of Ernest Calvin and Lena Mabel Hunt Mullican. He was an auto parts specialist working for many dealerships in Grayson County. He was a member of Unity Missionary Baptist Church in Denison and proudly served in the National Guard. He was an avid deer hunter for many years.
Troy is survived by his daughter, Donna Wages and her husband, Charlie of Pottsboro; sister, Jean Colwell of Gilmer, Texas; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and his very good friend and hunting partner, Robert Pointer.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
The family suggests memorials to Home Hospice of Grayson County, P.O. Box 2306, Sherman, TX 75091.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
