Joe C. Terry, 70, died Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Kindred Hospital in Dallas.
Family visitation will be 12-1 p.m., Wednesday at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel with Pastor Lee Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Enterprise Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Dylan Yates, Jake Terry, Tyler Appelquist, Fred Mapel, Dean Smith and Darrin Smith.
Joe was born in Sadler, Texas on January 26, 1945 to his parents, John Morrison “Buster” and Frances Leone Higgins Terry. He graduated from S&S Consolidated High School and he and Barbara Dagnan were married on September 7, 1963 in Sherman. She preceded him in death on April 30, 1991. Joe retired as a warehouse manager for L D Brinkman after working for the company for 35 years. He belonged to the Haltom City, Texas Moose Lodge and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his son, Brian Terry and his wife, Caprice of Rowlett, Texas; daughter, Suzanne Yates of Bedford, Texas; grandsons, Dylan Yates of Bedford, Texas and Jake Terry of Rowlett, Texas and granddaughters, Jordan Terry of Rowlett, Texas, Nicolle Yates of Bedford, Texas and Jolie Terry of Rowlett, Texas.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Barbara and brother, Jack Morrison Terry.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
