Phillip Lyle Moses

Phillip Lyle Moses, 87 of Pottsboro died at his home on Wednesday, February 11, 2015.
He was born on November 19, 1927 to Clarence and Inez Smith Moses in Houston, TX.
Mr. Moses received his bachelors degree from Texas A & M University and was a physicist at Core Laboratories. He married Doris “Dottie” Fields on January 29, 1951 in Thibodaux, LA., and spent 64 years of marriage together until her death on February 6, 2015.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, February 16, 2015 at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel, with Pastor Neal Alexander officiating. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery.
He is survived by his brother, Truman Moses and his wife, Shirley of Pottsboro; nephews, Bob Moses of Dallas, TX, Dale Moses of Denison, TX and Randy Moses of Waco, TX; niece, Ila Moses of Cleveland, TX and numerous nieces and nephews in Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Dottie; son, Darrell Moses; and one brother, Brian Moses.
The family requests memorial donations in her name be made to Texas A & M University Scholarship Office, P.O. Box 30016, College Station, TX 77842.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
