Billy Ira Corbitt, 57, died Sunday, September 8, 2013 at the Lighthouse Marina on Lake Texoma.
Visitation will be from 10-11 am on Friday, September 13, 2013 at Carson Cemetery in Ector, Texas and graveside services will begin at 11:00 am. Officiating will be Reverend Mike Tucker.
Billy was born on October 7, 1955 in Sherman, the son of J.W. and May Nell Ellison Corbitt. He graduated from Sherman High School and attended Grayson County College.
Billy and Lori Langford were married on December 22, 1984 in Sherman, Texas. He worked for LOF for 19 years as a forklift driver and was working for the Lighthouse Marina in Pottsboro in the maintenance department. He was a Christian.
Donations may be sent to the Lighthouse Marina, 300 Lighthouse Dr., Pottsboro, TX 75076 to help with the funeral expenses.
He is survived by his wife, Lori Corbitt of Pottsboro; mother, May Nell Corbitt of Sherman; sons, William Corbitt and Justin Corbitt both of Pottsboro; brother, Ronnie Corbitt of Iowa Park, Texas and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, J.W. and his brother, Raymond.
