Jimmie Don Wilkins, 70, passed away on Monday, April 29, 2013 at Texoma Medical Center.
Services will be in Chapel on the Hill Mausoleum at Cedarlawn Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, 2013.
He was born on April 4, 1943 in El Reno, Oklahoma. He was the son of Lonnie and Opal Hogan Sloan. He graduated from Denison High School in 1962 and married Georgia Cooper on January 17, 1970 in Denison. Jimmie Don served in the United States Army as a medic in Vietnam. He retired as a lineman for TP&L and TXU in 1999.
Visitation with the family will be at the residence.
Jimmie Don is survived by his wife, Georgia Cooper Wilkins of Denison; son, Eric Wilkins of Pottsboro; daughter, Lisa Wilkins of Denison; brother, Lonnie Sloan of Denison; sister, Nancy Green of Denison; grandchildren, Alexandra Williams of Sherman, Megan Hunter of Denison, Nathan Wilkins of Pottsboro and great-granddaughter, Jaziya Modisette.
