Jimmy Lee Yeary

November 14, 1945 - December 15, 2023

Jimmy Lee Yeary passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 78. Born on November 14, 1945, to proud parents Jack and Leola (Moore) Yeary, Jimmy’s journey through life was one marked by love, dedication, and countless cherished moments.

Family was at the center of Jimmy’s world. On May 7, 2010, he embarked on a lifelong journey of love and companionship with his beloved wife, Carolyn Yeary. Together, they created a legacy of love, resilience, and shared memories that will endure through the ages.

Professionally, Jimmy dedicated many years of his life to J&J, where he served as a manager. His work ethic, leadership, and commitment to excellence left an indelible mark on all who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Away from the demands of the professional world, Jimmy found solace and joy in various hobbies. Golfing brought him moments of relaxation, while the revving engines of Harley motorcycles and the sleek design of a Corvette ’99 fueled his passion for the open road. His love for Choctaw and a contagious sense of humor endeared him to all who had the pleasure of sharing in his company.

Jimmy is survived by his wife, Carolyn; daughter, Candace Zimmerman and husband Nathan of Denver Colorado; four step-children, Catrina Whited of Durant, Oklahoma, Brian Jackson and wife Jackie of Denison, Texas, Sheila Webb and husband John of Colbert, Oklahoma, and Tracy Creed and husband Michael of Dallas, Texas; three grandchildren, Julian Yeary Zimmerman, Tauri Jackson and Hayden Webb; two sisters, Debbie Miller and husband Leroy and Carol Ford; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jimmy’s role as a grandfather was not just a title; it was a position of joy, wisdom, and love.

Jimmy Lee Yeary was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Yeary and Leola Yeary, as well as his brother, Tom Yeary. As we mourn his passing, we also celebrate a life richly lived—a life that touched the hearts of many.

A celebration of life will be held at 2 PM, December 29, 2023. For location and details, you can reach out to his daughter, Candace, at 903-815-2057.

Rest in peace, dear Jimmy. You will be deeply missed, but your memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know and love you.
