It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michelle (Missy) Lee Snapp, who departed from this world on March 5, 2024, in Pottsboro, Texas. Missy was born on March 20, 1971, in Decatur, Illinois, to her loving parents Wayne and Marietta Snapp.
Missy leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, which will forever be treasured by her family and friends. She is survived by her devoted parents, Wayne and Marietta Snapp, her siblings Voni Sebile (spouse Bob), Lisa Steele, and Christy Griffin (spouse Chris). She was a beloved aunt to her nieces Caitlyn Arechiga (spouse Frank) and Samantha Abrego (spouse Taylor), and she adored her great nieces and nephews, Frank Arechiga Jr., Jessey Arechiga, Everly Abrego, Nolan Arechiga, Denver Abrego, and Ally Arechiga.
Missy will be deeply missed by her extended family in Tennessee, Indiana, and Texas, including the Aicardi Family. She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Morris Steele.
In her honor, a celebration of Missy’s life will be held from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, March 9, 2024, at the Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel, 511 FM 120, Pottsboro, Texas 75076.
Missy’s spirit and strength will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to have known her. May she rest in peace, forever surrounded by the love and warmth she shared so generously during her time on earth.
