Paul Hellinghausen Jr., 61, of Denison, Texas, passed away peacefully on November 21, 2024. Born on January 28, 1963, in Shreveport, Louisiana, he was the beloved son of Paul and Frances Hellinghausen. A proud veteran, Paul deeply loved his country and enjoyed exploring the world through his passion for travel. He was also a dedicated truck driver, a profession he took great pride in. In addition to his love for the open road, Paul had a passion for playing the guitar, finding joy in music throughout his life.
On March 17, 1990, Paul married Laurie Hellinghausen (Tittle), and together they built a loving family. He is survived by his three sons: Paul Kosanke of Midland, Texas; David Kosanke of Austin, Texas; and Austen Hellinghausen (Ashley) of Denison, Texas. Paul also leaves behind cherished grandchildren: Cassidy, Tatum, Ryleigh, Kohen, Bryce, Wyatt, Paul Jr., William, and Watson, as well as his great-grandchild, Ezra.
He is also survived by his brother Bill Hellinghausen and wife Maryann of Houston, Texas; his sister Dawn Pavel and husband Mick; and numerous nieces and nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his mother, Frances Hellinghausen (Welsh), and his brothers, Greg and Doug Hellinghausen.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Saturday, November 30, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home in Denison, Texas. Paul will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
