Raymond Eugene Null of Pottsboro, Texas, passed away on December 14, 2022, at the age of 74. He was born July 20, 1948, to O’Dell and Virginia Null in Belmont, North Carolina. Raymond married Donna Walker on June 1, 1970, in York, South Carolina.

Raymond proudly served his country as an Army Combat Medic during the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1970. Raymond was a man of many talents. He enjoyed building furniture for his family and working with his hands. He had a love for technology and even assembled computers of his own. Most importantly, he loved his family and was very close to his grandchildren. Raymond will be remembered by his sweet presence and will be missed by many.

Raymond is survived by his wife, Donna Mae Null; children, Diane Malinda Green, Anthony Eugene Null and his adopted daughter and sister-in-law, Essie Mae Dunning; grandchildren, Alina Michelle Bracken, Christopher Jay Bracken, Patric Mason Green, Anthony Raymond Null, Amber Rae Brown; sister, Alice Null Every; and brother, Robert O’Dell Null.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, William (Bill) Preston Null; and sister, Juanita Lymon Honeycut.

    Raymond was the best brother ever. When we were teens he never failed to include me to go with him & his friends. We were always together He had to leave to go to Vietnam when he returned I had mover to Texas with our mother. He came to visit then came back to N.C. . He met Donna who lived beside our sister (Juanita) Donna was my best friend in High School. Well they got married! I was so happy for them ! I loved him dearly!

    Raymond was a great guy. From the first time I met him and the few times we were around each other we hit it off and I considered him a close friend and a respected brother in law. He will be missed but we will catch up one day.

    Raymond was like a Dad to me, He & my sister raised me from age 12. I don’t believe that there was anything that he couldn’t do, he was my hero. I will miss him so very much, he’s up in heaven with Bob Dunning now watching over everyone. I love you Raymond

    Such a wonderful man Raymond was. It was such a blessing and honor to have had the chance to be a part of his life. He was a man of many talents and his humor was overflowing. He will be dearly missed. I’m sure he’s already up to mischief in heaven with his loved ones who met him. Fly high Raymond.
