My relationship with this precious lady Marilyn began when Gerald and I moved to Denison TX in 1983. We began attending First Assembly of God and there sat a precious couple Johnnie and Marilyn Dawson that welcomed us and thus began a loving Christian friendship that lasted until God took Johnny home then precious Marilyn, She and I would spend hours sipping coffee and sharing our hearts like sister do. When God called her precious Johnny home Gerald and I were there for her and when God called my Gerald she was there for me sharing memories praying crying laughing and always eating someplace mainly Red Lobster or Olive Garden. Will I miss her?? OH I started missing her when she took ill and had to be hospitalized for I felt that God was calling her home. The sadness is there but the joy over rides that because she is now with Jesus and her Johnny and my Gerald waiting for me to join them. She was an absolutely a loving soul dedicated to her family and very loyal to our friendship My prayer for for the family to be comforted as they and I adjust to life with out her.. Alice McBride
