Martin Ainsworth

Martin Pete Ainsworth, 85, passed away on Friday, July 15, 2022 at Texoma Medical Center.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 21, 2022 from 6pm until 7pm at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home in Denison, TX.
Graveside services will be Friday, July 22, 2022 at 10am at Cedarlawn Memorial Park in Sherman, TX. with military honors conducted by Fort Hood U.S. Army Honor Guard. Reverend Keith Newsome will officiate.
Pallbearers will be Garrett Ainsworth, Chance Ainsworth, Anthony Brown, Shayne Parks, Michael Carvotta, and Mark Williams.
Martin was born on April 8, 1937 in Fauquier County, Virginia to Wilburt and Bessie Lee Ainsworth. Martin enlisted in the US Army in 1954 where he served with the 11th Airborne until 1957. Martin married the love of his life, Bessie Young, on September 1, 1955.
Martin is survived by his sons, Stephen Ainsworth and his wife, Tina of Denison and Jefferey Ainsworth and his wife, Monica of Denison; 14 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Martin was preceded in death by his parents and his loving wife of 56 years, Bessie Young Ainsworth.
