Jeff and I have known each other since high school band. He was always a sweet person and from time to time over the years we would have the opportunity to talk about our lives. We would laugh and spend those few times in whatever setting found us. People would walk around us and just wonder what makes us so happy. I feel that Jeff was the kind of person that just spread joy every where. I will miss the chance to bump into him randomly and share some more of life’s experiences and laugh.

I met Jeff when I was in High School at Denison Senior High. My mom, Sylvia Hall, and his mom, Amy Williams, worked together at TMC and were best friends. I played drums in the band and he took the extra time to give me lessons. I would often go to the venues where he would be having concerts. He was an excellent drummer and an Wonderful, Wonderful person. I never saw Jeff without a smile on his face and even though he went through some difficult struggles in life he was definitely an inspiration to me and a person that overcame. Will miss you Jeff Vanessa Smith – 1979 Denison High School Alumni

My husband Tony Garcia and I met and knew Jeff through the Texoma music family. He was a very friendly, outgoing, smiling man and was a very good drummer with an awesome area band. God’s Angels took him home and many of us were honored to have known him. God bless his family, friends, and acquaintances.

I met Jeff about 10years ago when he signed up for a course I was teaching. The class that was to be no longer than 2 hours lasted for 3 because of his story telling! Every 2 years to follow I had the pleasure of seeing him again, catching up on his life adventures and meeting his co-workers that would join him; and yes, the class was always longer when he attended! What a wonderful man. I am honored to have shared just a few brief moments of time in his life. His shinning light and great smile will be missed by all in our community. Jeff may you RIP.
