DENISON
Ruth Walker, 81, passed away Friday, June 1, 2018 at Wilson N. Jones Hospital in Sherman.
Ruth was born in Carlsbad, New Mexico on November 9, 1936, the daughter of Reverend Ellis T. and Esther Alyce (Powers) Green. She graduated from Rogers High School in Rogers, Arkansas. Ruth and William B. Walker were married on December 22, 1955 in Rogers, Arkansas.
She retired after 27 years as the owner/operator of RGB Rental Sales. She was a member of Saint John’s Episcopal Church in Pottsboro and a member of BPW, NOW and Denison Area Chamber of Commerce.
Ruth is survived by her sons, Michael Walker of Garrison, New York and Ronald Norris of Benbrook, TX; sister-in-law, Nancy Green of Denison; granddaughters, Brandi L. Miller of Citrus Hills, FL., Dianna E. Walker of Wappingers Falls, NY, Kathrynn D. Walker of Jacksonville, FL and Michaela K. Walker of Denison, TX; great grandchildren, Brandon Miller, Kayla Miller, Zachary W. Walker, Zoe A. Walker and Jace Miller all of Citrus Hills, FL, Maddox L. Walker of Wappingers Falls, NY, Howard J. Stone, III of Brooklyn, NY and Christian M. Walker of Peekskill, NY and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William B. Walker; brother, Ellis T, Green, Jr and sister, Laurene Gertrude Fiore.
Memorial services are 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home in Denison with The Reverend Stephanie Graham officiating.
