Carolyn Weatherman, of Pottsboro, Texas passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2022. She was born on January 31, 1939 in Fort Worth, Texas, to Harvey McKillen and Opal Marie Lemons. Carolyn married Darwin ‘Shorty’ Weatherman on August 10, 1957 in Fort Worth, Texas.
Carolyn worked for Texas Instruments for many years as a receptionist. She also managed the office at their family-owned foundation repair company. She also enjoyed activities such as scuba diving and square dancing with the Lakeside Dudes and Dolls Dance Group.
She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Darwin ‘Shorty’ Weatherman of Pottsboro, Texas.; son, Wayne Weatherman Jr. of Pottsboro, Texas; daughter Valerie Ann Weatherman of Fort Worth, Texas; and one uncle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and one sister.
A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, September 2, 2022 at Georgetown Cemetery, 539 Cemetery Road, Pottsboro Texas. A visitation will be held Thursday, September 1, 2022, from 2 to 3 p.m. at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel, 511 W. Hwy 120, Pottsboro Texas 75076.
