As a young green alcohol and drug counselor she took me under her wing and taught me more than I learned in any classroom. Do not think anyone ever knew about her mentoring me and forcing me to work those damn 12 Steps but she knew what she was doing and I grew both personally and professionally. I will always be indebted to her and will hold her in my heart where the smiles are located. My love to Linda and all of the family. Thom

My thoughts and prayers are with Alice’s family. May God comfort you as only He can. I learned a lot about people and how to relate to them as I worked with Alice. She had a special place in her heart for all of her AA “babies” and any others who needed guidance. I will miss her sweet smile, but I can look forward to seeing her again. Linda

Alice was a wonderful mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She always had a smile on her face and was always full of cheer. Alice positively impacted the lives of many and she was loved dearly by her family and friends. We will miss not having her here, but we know she is in heaven shining down on us. She has a special place in my heart and she will always be remembered.

Condolences to the family of my dear friend Alice whose friend- ship lasted from our high school years till her passing from here to be with the Lord. I have so many memories of our days enjoying the down town loop in Papa Tillerson car, and the sleep overs at her home. My child Alice was named for her. She was a very special person and friend. May God bless and keep the family! Mary Singleton Gregory
