Allan Michael Scott, 31, of Pottsboro, Texas, passed away on September 23, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories, especially with his beloved son, Landry Scott, and Landry’s mother, Kennedy Huckobey. Allan’s devotion to his son was unparalleled; being a father was the role he cherished most in life.
Allan is survived by his loving mother, Christa Fox, and stepfather Tony Fox; his father, Leslie Scott, and stepmother Andrea Scott; and his devoted sisters, Amber Scott and her husband Jeremy Fieseler, and Amanda Sayer and her husband Josh Sayer. His stepsiblings, including his partner on the “Catalina Wine Mixer,” Michael Lampton, and his wife Yaz Lampton, will also forever miss Allan’s unique blend of humor and mischief.
He is further survived by his grandparents, Archie and Katie Scott; Leonard and Charlene Carpenter; and Lynn and Rita Freeman. His nephews, Lawson and Lennox Fieseler, and nieces, Elyce and Sage Lampton, will hold memories of “Unc” close to their hearts. His best friend, Brandon Love, was more like a brother, and Allan cherished their bond deeply.
Allan had countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who he loved dearly and who will miss him profoundly.
Awaiting him at Heaven’s Gates were his nephew Levi Fieseler, his cousins Jacob Carpenter, Kimberly Scott, Tim Pierce, Stacy Carpenter, and Kristina Pierce, his great-grandmother “MeMaw” Carpenter, and his grandparents Virgle and Linda Fox.
Allan was known for his infectious smile and playful spirit. He had a way of aggravating people that somehow always ended in laughter—most of the time! His greatest joy was his family, and he wore the title of “Unc” with pride. He shared a particularly close bond with his sisters, who had an uncanny ability to talk him into all sorts of shenanigans. Allan was always up for an adventure and never backed down from their wild ideas.
A die-hard Dallas Cowboys fan, Allan’s Sundays were dedicated to football. He could be found decked out in Cowboys gear, cheering his team on, often hurdling over furniture or yelling at the TV, whether they were winning or losing. Thursday nights were reserved for poker with his boys, a tradition that brought him great joy and laughter.
Allan was also famous for his holiday antics, especially at Christmas time. Known for his “cheating ways,” no one wanted to go up against him in Monopoly, but everyone wanted to be on his team. His presence at family gatherings brought both chaos and joy in equal measure.
Allan’s heart was as big as his smile, and his playful nature could brighten even the darkest of days. As a father, son, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and friend, Allan will forever be missed and will always be loved.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 PM Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Texins Lake Texoma Club, 137 Gateway Road, Pottsboro, Texas 75076. The family asks to wear their favorite NFL team shirt and comfortable clothing.
