Bessie Clifton Ainsworth, 77, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2013 at Texoma Medical Center.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 4, 2013 from 7 pm until 8 pm at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be 11:00 am Friday, April 5, 2013 at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home. Pastor Todd George will officiate. Burial will follow in Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Garrett Ainsworth, Daniel Boehmisch, Shayne Parks, Anthony Brown, Chance Ainsworth and Mark Williams.
Bessie was born on October 23, 1935 in Celina, Tennessee, the daughter of Arthur Lee and Martha Margaret Stone Young. She was a graduate of Celina Tennessee High School and Business College in Nashville, Tennessee. She and Martin P. Ainsworth were married in Nashville, Tennessee on September 1, 1955.
She was a legal secretary for twenty-eight years for Wilson Walters and was of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by her husband, Martin Ainsworth of Denison; sons, Stephen Ainsworth and his wife, Tina of Denison and Jefferey Ainsworth of Denison; brothers, Jip Young of Hillham, Tennessee and Estel Young and his wife, Glenna of Hillham, Tennessee; sisters, Dorothy “Dot” Savage of Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee, Sue Lancaster of Moss, Tennessee and Evelyn Smith of Hillham, Tennessee; 10 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Arthur Stone Young and Frank Young and sister, Helen Schneider.
