Betty Jane Moore, 88 year old Denison resident, passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2017. Betty was born in Sherman, TX, the youngest of 6 children born to Clifford and Georgia Mauk.
Family visitation will be held at the family’s home, 4251 Preston Road Denison, TX 75020 at 6:00 PM Friday, February 10, 2017.
Graveside service will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Georgetown Cemetery. Reverend Carl Bilderback will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
She is survived by her son Arvil R. Moore Jr. and wife Eva, 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews who knew her as “Aunt B”.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arvil R. Moore, 4 brothers and 1 sister, 2 daughters and 1 granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to First Baptist Church of Pottsboro, ATTN: Care Ministry, 400 Houston, Pottsboro, TX 75076.
