Billie Kathryn Griffin

Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother slipped peacefully into the arms of Jesus Tuesday, November 27th at home in Garland, Texas, at the age of 89 years old. Billie was born January 3, 1929 in Stamford, Texas, the daughter of Mary Ellen and John W. Aubrey Binnicker. She married Jack Griffin in Stamford on August 24, 1946. She worked for Stamford ISD as the Superintendent’s secretary until they moved to Denison in June, 1970. She began working at Pillsbury in 1971 and retired in 1989. She worked as the receptionist, Plant Manager’s Secretary, and Personnel Department of Insurance and Union Liaison. Billie’s hobbies included gardening, reading, sewing, traveling and spoiling the grandkids. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack who passed away in 1986. “BIBI” leaves behind her beloved family; sons Aubrey and wife Della Griffin of Denison, Phillip and wife Pam Griffin of Denison, and daughter Pamela Langston of Garland. Grandsons Matthew Griffin of Denison, Mark Griffin of Pottsboro, Shane Griffin of Hollywood, California. Granddaughters Misty Lacy of Waimea, Hawaii, Brianna Allen of Decatur, Texas. She has six great grandkids they are Emma Gadd of Hawaii, Zane, Brinlee and Ryker Allen of Decatur, and Abigail and Austin Griffin of Denison.
