Bun A. Cayton III born December 21, 1939, in Groesbeck, TX, passed from his life August 10, 2024, due to Alzheimer’s Disease. He served 4 years in the US Air force and was a member of Georgetown Baptist Church.
Bun is survived by his wife Jane Stratton Cayton; son Bun A. Cayton IV and wife Ingrid; grandson Zach Cayton; granddaughters Madison and Makenzie Cayton, all of Pottsboro; sister Barbara Moula of Richardson; long time friend and partner in legal shenanigans Pete Jones of Hurst along with the many friends he collected throughout his life journey.
In Bun’s younger years, he liked fast cars, fast boats and always having a good time.
Much gratitude, love and thanks to the people who took special care of him; Hospice plus, Nanaw’s Place in Denison, the special residents of Nanaw’s who became part of his family, his Home Health Aids, Alma Marinda and Catrina Terrell.
