Catherine Lavon Robertson, born on September 17, 1951, passed away on July 15, 2024. Cathy was born to Herbert Warren Perkins and Thelma Ruth Byers in Chula Vista, California.
On October 17, 1970, she married Kent Robertson, and together they created a family, having five children: daughters Athena Robertson, Andrea Robertson, and Irene Aguirre (married to Jamie), and sons Zachariah Robertson and Warren Robertson (married to Susannah). Cathy is also survived by her brother, Robert Perkins, along with 15 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A devoted member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Cathy dedicated her life to serving in the church and in child care for abused children. She was known for her kindness, compassion, and gentle demeanor towards everyone she met.
Cathy had a passion for reading, watching all kinds of movies, TV, and spending time with her family. She cherished her time with her children, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchild. Her children and grandchildren adored her and loved her with all their hearts. She was the most kind, patient, forgiving and Christ loving women they knew.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Kent Robertson.
Visitation will be on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 6-7 PM at the LDS Church located at 1900 W Lamberth Rd, Sherman, TX 75092.
