Uncle Charles, you were our Geneologist, communicator and Pictoral Memory Book of all reunions of the extended Kuykendall / Bailey families. You were always there for us kids when we had a math question (or my favorite Calculus) and had a kind word for everyone. Your laughter will be missed, and memories of monkeys from the great State Fair of Texas, hanging from every door frame of our home, will live in my memory. Miss Ann, we love you and ask our Maker for His loving support of all of your and Uncle Charles’ support group in that coming months. God bless each and every one of you in all ways, and always. Diane

Cousin Charles helped me learn the history and appreciate the lineage of the Kuykendall family. I will miss him and will carry forward the pride and love he had for his family name. I am grateful for all the prayers he led at our family reunions and for the many pictures he shared with enthusiasm and pride. May God bless and comfort you all in your time of loss. With Sympathy, Tamara Allen

When his step mother had a bird in the kitchen that would call the cats and would also say “Uncle Shorty’s a dirty bird. Charles was good to me. Mark Kuykendall One of Ray’s ( Carroll’s son.) boys.
