Little sis I will miss you so much I remember a lot of fun times growing up. You had class and style in how you dressed and always a great hair style. I envied your green thumb from orchids to gardening. Namaste my beloved little sis.

I will miss our long, often phone calls. We really did think we were solving world problems. I loved the name you gave us Nosey Rosies, probably was true. (not that I want to admit it). I will always think of you when I style my hair or look at my nails. You were the styling one.I know you were opinionated but all us girls are. Ginnie says it is the Dutch in us.Love you bunches and we will be together again some day. I must admit I hope it is not to soon though as I would like to live to at least 105 and yes, I will still be curvy.(private joke). This is not good by it is just Until We Meet Again.

I did Cindy‘s hair since 2018 in the very beginning of the year she found me online and said that she was looking for a good hairdresser that knew exactly how she wanted her haircut and I knew exactly how she wanted it done, because my aunt that had passed away years ago that was my favorite aunt had the same haircut and color so I knew exactly how to do her hair and I loved our visits, we always had the best conversations it was almost like a long lost friend, and as if we had known each other for years. Her and Bill would come in and we would have the best time laughing and cutting out why did their hair always look forward to her appointments with me she was a good friend and a good client. I still just can’t believe she’s gone sending love and prayers to Bill and her family I know she will be missed

I can’t believe you are gone. We started out as neighbors in Allen Texas and became lifelong friends. You taught me how to care for your hibiscus when you and Bill went on a trip out of town and in return our family would get to swim in your pool. Andrew and Katelyn loved those summers spent at your pool and I gained a friend and a passion for gardening. I will miss our monthly phone calls. You were always a straight shooter and I loved you for that. Always wanting to know how Randy, Andrew, Katelyn, and my parents were doing. I admired your optimism and determination. When you had surgery on your wrist, what should have taken 6 months to heal took 6 weeks. You were a fighter. You and Bill were a great team. A lot of blood, sweat, and tears went into the home you and Bill have on Lake Texoma, but what a retreat it is. My life is richer because of our friendship. Love You! John 14:2-3 ”In My Father’s house are many dwelling places; if it were not so, I would have told you; for I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”

It’s spring awakening around here mom and soon everywhere I look will be a sweet reminder of you with flowers in bloom thinking of your God given green thumb. I pray you will be close to me throughout my Journey, seeing my accomplishments and even my sorrows. You were always the happiest on holidays when everyone would come to visit. All the days prior preparing hoping everything was perfect. Your face would light up to see everyone. I know in my heart those were some of the most precious moments to you… From projects to vacation scrap books wanting in your heart to make good memories – thank you… thank you. All the time we had together will always be kept close to our hearts. I love you Mom, we will make you proud. Lovingly, Jenifer

I first met Cindy when Jenifer, her daughter, invited my family to join her, Brandon, Andrew and Nolan for Thanksgiving dinner in Pottsboro with Cindy and Bill. I was told she was a great cook and there would be games. We enjoyed the visit very much and I wasn’t surprised when Cicny gave us all a list and told us it was time for a Scavenger Hunt. We had to drive all over town in groups of three of four and find all kinds of crazy stuff. I realized later that this was her way of getting us out of the house so she could finish cooking in relative peace, but it was a lot of fun. More games ensued throughout the afternoon and everyone had a great time. Dinner was amazing and I especially remember Cindy’s “Sweet Potato Delite” dish. I had never been a big fan of sweet potatoes but I had promised I would try it and it was so amazing I asked for the recipe. Still have it and still make it around holiday time. We became good friends after this and spent countless hours on the phone catching up on each others’ families, occasionally talking about current events, and almost always about the true crime book about her brother’s story that she had been working on for years. She was always hoping to get it published so the world could hear her story. I will miss our long phone calls and her stories about helping raise Jenifer’s boys who she loved and missed very much.
