Curtis W. Campbell, 66, died surrounded by his wife and children on Monday, April 25, 2022 in Denison, Texas. Curtis was born in Plainview, Texas on February 22, 1956. He graduated from Pottsboro High School and Grayson County College. He and Vicky Boling were married in Pottsboro on September 8, 1976. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, was a member of Grace Temple Baptist Church in Henrietta, Texas and retired from Red River Authority of Texas as General Manager after 36 years.
Curtis is survived by his wife of 45 years, Vicky Campbell of the home; son, John Campbell and his wife, Jessica of Iowa Park, Texas; daughter, Nona Clutts and her husband, Jeremy of Denison; brothers, Frank Bauman and his wife, Natalie of Pottsboro and Steve Campbell and his wife, Jeanne of Belton, Texas; sister, LeAndra Beckemeyer and her husband, Curt of Diamondhead, MS; uncle, Wayne Brown and his wife, Virginia of Denison; six grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, Ma and Pa Brown-Ethel Mae (Keenom) and Herman George Brown; birth parents, James Curtis Campbell and Linda Ruth (Brown) Campbell Bauman and his sister, Sandy Munson.
Memorial services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel.
