David Glen Holley, 53, passed away on Thursday, July 21, 2011. He was born in Liberal, Kansas to James Clayton and Joan Green Holley. Mr. Holley attended school in Dallas, Texas and married Darlene Tessman on November 20, 2002 in Oklahoma. He was a disabled metal recycler and fruit stand owner, and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. He was also a member of the U.S. Army National Guard Reserve. In his retired years, he enjoyed being GaGa and PawPaw to his grandkids. Mr. Holley was preceded in death by his father, James Clayton Holley. He is survived by his beloved wife of nine years, Darlene Holley of Denison, Texas, mother Joan Holley of Ferris, Texas, sons Allen Tessman and wife, Jenny of Denison, Texas, Justin Tessman and wife, Elena of Maryland, and Russell Tessman of Denison, Texas, daughter Heather Noriega and husband, Jefferey Pender of Sherman, Texas, brothers Philip Holley of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Roger Holley and wife, Ann of Kingston, Oklahoma, sisters Aleeta Saathoff and husband, Warren of Ferris, Texas, and eight grandchildren. The graveside service for Mr. Holley will be at 10 am, Monday July 25, 2011 at Georgetown Cemetery, Pottsboro, Texas. Rev. Greg Smith and Rev. Jerry Kuhn will be officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the First National Bank of Bells/Savoy in Mr. Holley's name.
