Dorothy L. West, 100 of Denison passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Texoma Medical Center.
She was born on May 31, 1913 in Durant, OK to John L. and Martha Gosdin.
Dorothy spent many years operating a beauty salon in the back of her home. She will be dearly missed by her co-worker, long-time friend and caregiver, DeAnna Thomas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, B.H. (Bill) West; brothers, Lester Gosdin and Elmer Gosdin; and one sister, Gladys Middleton.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Fairview Cemetery Chapel. DeAnna Thomas will officiate on behalf of Reverend Carol Mannery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral home.
