Earnest Odell “Mac” McLain, 54 year old Denison resident died Sunday, February 21, 2016 at Texoma Medical Center.
Mac was born in Denison on November 26, 1961, the son of Earnest May and Judy Ann Harris McLain. He graduated from Pottsboro High School and served in the United States Navy for 10 years. Mac and Leslie Reed were married on May 22, 1992 in Whitesboro, Texas. He worked for the Sunny Delight division of Folgers as a maintenance supervisor and was a member of New Beginnings Fellowship Church.
Mac is survived by his wife, Leslie McLain of Denison; son, Matthew Brian McLain of Denison; daughter, Rebecca Lynn Yarborough and her husband, Mike of Cottageville, South Carolina; brothers, Tony McLain and Cody McLain both of Denison and Tyler McLain of Tom Bean; sister, Misty McLain and her husband, Ryan of Denison and two grandchildren, Haylee and Kobe Mac.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Memorial services will be 4:00 p.m. Thursday, February 25, 2016 at New Beginnings Fellowship Church, 1201 W. Shepherd St., Denison. Pastor Gene Amerson will officiate.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
