Rachel Cleveland,75, went home to be with her Lord Monday, June 11, 2012 at Texoma Medical Center.
Visitation will be from 6-7 p.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, June 14, 2012 at Preston Community Church. Reverend Billy Viers will officiate and burial will follow at Georgetown Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tate Dobbs, Cody Hatfield, Curtis Hope, Dylan Cleveland, Dalton Cleveland and Tim Green.
Rachel was born on July 11, 1936 in Lindsay, Oklahoma, the daughter of E.P. and Essie Mae Stogsdill Pulliam. She attended school in Hugo, Oklahoma and on April 9, 1953 she married Alva L. "Al" Cleveland in Dallas, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 15, 1997.
Mrs. Cleveland owned and operated several businesses and was, most importantly, a homemaker. She was a member of Preston Community Church.
She is survived by her sons, Paul Cleveland and his wife, Connie and Mike Cleveland and his wife, Felecia all from Pottsboro; daughter, Alisa Cleveland of Pottsboro; sister, Ellen Collier of Pottsboro; grandchildren, Chris Hope, Dylan Cleveland, Dalton Cleveland, Amy Dobbs, Cody Hatfield, Bryan McElrath and Curtis McElrath; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Al Cleveland; brothers, Archie Pulliam, Hank Pulliam and Gaylen Vincent; sister, Odessa Davidson; and daughter-in-law, Jessica Cleveland.
