Harold Marthinsen, Jr., 74, died at his residence in Pottsboro on Tuesday, July 29, 2014.
Graveside services will be 9:00 a.m. Thursday, July 31, 2014 in Georgetown Cemetery.
Harold was born in Michigan City, Indiana on June 5, 1940, the son of Harold and Iris Orsborn Marthinsen, Sr. He and Opal Elliott were married June 23, 1958 in Michigan City, Indiana. He was a service tech of North Texas RV, he was of the Baptist faith and an avid ham operator until his death.
He is survived by his wife, Opal of the home; son, Dennis Marthinsen of Lubbock, Texas; daughters, Deb McNamara of Pottsboro, Dina Marthinsen of Sherman; one brother and one sister of Indiana and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
