Howard Phillip, 81, died at his home in Denison Wednesday, December 8, 2010. He was cremated and his graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 10, 2010 at Georgetown Cemetery.
Howard was born the son of George Dewey and Ollie Phillips in Denison on April 6, 1929.
Mr. Phillips was an employeee of Driggs Store for many years before he retired. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Denison and American Legion Post #62. He married Sara Lindsey who predeceased him.
Survivors are his daughters, Serena Hempkins and Amanda Phillips both of Denison and Dewena Cates of Yakima, Washington; sister, Nelda Perdue of Denison; grandchildren, Cody Hempkins, Kevin Cunningham, Cris Cunninghan; and great-granddaughter, Drheaven Sandstrom.
