Ida Mae Kukull, 81, of Denison, T.X., died Monday, July 2, 2012 at Beacon Hill in Denison. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 6, 2012 at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor Michael Mattil officiating. Burial will be in Cedarlawn Memorial Park. She was born on April 13, 1931 in Minot, N.D. to Roy and Anna J. Brandon McConn. She graduated from Minot High School and spent one year at the University of Denver in Denver, C.O. She married Donald S. Kukull on August 24, 1972 in Minot. He preceded her in death on May 18, 1985. Mrs. Kukull retired as a PBX Operator from the Great Northern Railroad, Burlington Northern Railroad, and the MKT Railroad. She was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church and the Alpha Delphi Sorority. She is survived by her sons: Gary W. Storbeck and wife, Mary of Cheyenne, Wyo., Rodney D. Storbeck and wife, Barbara of Valley Mills, Tex., Kent L. Storbeck of Denton, Tex.; step-son: Donald S. Kukull, Jr. of Superior, Wis.; daughter: Karen L. Collins and husband, Jim of Chickasha, Okla.; step-daughter: Kathleen Teslaw of Apple Valley, Minn.; brother: Charles L. McConn of Minot; grandchildren: John and Kim, Tiffany and husband, Mac, Sabina, Stephan, Jason, Annie; great-children: Savonnah, Ysabella; niece: Nancy; and nephew: Dort Dean. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister Doris Ann Howery, step-brothers: Don, Marvin, Levi, Gordon; and step-sisters: Helen and Lorice. A family visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. Thursday at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials be made to Grace Lutheran Church, 2411 Woodlake Rd., Denison, T.X., 75021.
