Mrs. Kathleen Parish, age 99 of Pottsboro was born in Denton, Texas on September 23, 1922, the daughter of Wilbur J. and Jettie (Ryan) Lowe. She graduated from Denton High School and TWU in Denton. She got her wings to be with the Lord on August 3, 2022 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.
Kathleen was active in square dancing with the Texoma Squares, loved cooking, crafting and going to the casino for fun. She was an avid seamstress, gardener and loved watching birds and wildlife of all kinds.
Kathleen leaves behind her beloved family. Her husband, Jesse Parish of the home; daughters, Barbara Beck and her husband, Joe of McAlester, OK and Karen Sartor and her husband, Garry of Denison; Jesse’s sons, James Parish and his wife, Kay of Howe, J.D. Parish and his wife, Margaret of Arlington and Joe Parish and his wife, Kathy of Dayton, TX; grandchildren, Cory Sartor and his wife, Judie of Denison, Brandon Beck of McAlester, Amy Nohelty of McAlester, James Michael Parish of Colorado Springs, Amber Parish of Howe, Jessica M. Parish of New York and Joey Parish of Carrizo Springs, TX;
great grandchildren, Tristan Sartor and wife, Morgan of Denison, Hunter Sartor and wife, Rachel of Frisco, Liam Sartor and wife, Emma of Sherman, Gannon Beck of McAlester, Rayleigh Morrison and her husband, Matt of Tahlequah, OK, Ty Nohelty of McAlester, Lane Nohelty of McAlester and one great-great grandson, Clay Parish.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; brother, W.J. Lowe and father of her children, Charlie Leonard “Hutch” Hutcheson.
Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2022 at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home in Denison with Reverend Keith Newsome officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
