Larry Gene Brinlee

WHITESBORO -Larry Gene Brinlee, 78, passed away on Wednesday, June 2nd, 2021. Larry was born in Denison on October 30,1942, the son of Larry Odell and Lois (O’Neal) Brinlee. Services will be 1:0 pm Friday, June 4th, 2021 at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home in Denison. Interment immediately to follow at Cedarlawn Memorial Park, Chapel on the Hill. Officiating the service are Brother Marlin Harp and Brother Mike Downs. Pallbearers: Dustin Harp, Kendell Harp, Jesse Keller, Jacob Wilson, Darby Ballou, Jr and Wesley Ballou. Family visitation will be Thursday, June 3rd from 6pm to 8pm at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home in Denison. He worked as a stocker for Kroger’s Food Store for over 30 years and was a member of Holiness Church of Jesus Christ.
He is survived by his loving wife, Peggy of Whitesboro; sons, Larry (Monica) Brinlee, Denison, Stepson Darby Ballou, Jr, Whitesboro and daughters, Jan Harp of Denison, Aimee (Seth) Henslee of Colbert, OK; brother, Dale Roach of Denison and sister, Marilyn Mosier of Princeton, TX along with 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Ryan Brinlee; step-daughter, Dollee Pilkerton; brothers, Greg Worthington and Ed Brinlee and sisters, Darlene Travis and Donna Kay Benson.
