We will miss Lloyd at pickleball. I’ve known Lloyd for almost 30 years from Park Avenue Church of Christ but where I really got to know Lloyd was through our love of pickleball. Lloyd always showed up if he could whether it was just to visit or to play. He was always itching to play despite his recent physical ailments. Our groups at Park Avenue, Taylor Street and at John’s house will sure miss him. We love you Lloyd.

Lloyd was such a wonderful part of our family. “Bubba”, as he was affectionately known as with my Dad and their close friends, will be tremendously missed. He was such a fun part of our holiday and birthday celebrations and I will miss our conversations. I was blessed to have Lloyd and Karen as a part of my life from childhood through adulthood. Lloyd was loved dearly by my family and is missed even more. My love and prayers are with the Smith family.

Holiday and birthday celebrations will not be the same without Lloyd. I always enjoyed our conversations and the advice he would share.. He always had the funniest stories. I have known and been friends with Lloyd for over 40 years. My heart breaks for his family and all of us still here to cherish his memory, but I know he’s resting in the arms of his Savior. He has no more pain and is enjoying a great reunion with the love of his life, Karen. My most sincere prayers for peace and strength as you navigate the days ahead.
