Marjorie Carder, 87, died at her residence in Pottsboro on Monday, February 9, 2015.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel with Pastor Allen W. Snider officiating. Burial will be in Georgetown Cemetery. Her nephews will serve as her pallbearers.
Marjorie was born in Pottsboro, Texas on December 16, 1927, the daughter of Jessie Lee and Vernie Lee Fort Cook. She attended Pottsboro schools and graduated from Denison High School. She and Harold Carder were married in Sherman, Texas. Marjorie was a homemaker, caregiver and of the Methodist faith.
She is survived by 18 nieces and nephews including her nephews, Steve Cook of Pottsboro and Randy Cook of Caldwell, Texas and her nieces, Patricia Carlson of Spokane, WA and Gloria Squires of Pottsboro.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Alvin Cook, Ray Cook and Harvey Cook and her sister, Lillian Cook.
