May McIntosh Mott, 96, died at her home in Denison on Friday, November 27, 2015.
Family visitation will Tuesday, December 1, 2015 from 1-2 p.m. at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home, proceeding to the graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery. Reverend Trey Talley will officiate. Serving as her pallbearers will be Owen Mott, Vincent Mott, Reverend Trey Talley, Tradley Talley, Titan Talley, W.E. Johnson and David Westbrook.
Mrs. Mott was born on September 25, 1919 in Northumberland, England, the daughter of John and Mary Bell McIntosh. She was educated in England and married Elmer A. Mott on December 23, 1944 in Amble, England. She served as a radar technician in the British Home Guard during World War II. May was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was employed by Pool Manufacturing, The Nook and Watson’s on Main.
Mrs. Mott is survived by her son, Owen Mott and his wife, Carole of Denison; two grandchildren, Vincent Mott of Lewisville and Felisha Talley and her husband, Trey of Corinth, TX; four great grandchildren, Ally, Tapanga, Tradley and Titan all of Corinth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Isabel and Evelyn; husband, Elmer A. Mott and son, Alan B. Mott.
The family requests memorials to Trinity United Methodist Church, 101 E. U S Hwy 69, Denison, TX 75021 or The Church at Pecan Creek, 4251 FM 2181, Suite 230/153, Corinth, TX 76210.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
