Milton Ubernosky, a native of Burleson County, Texas, died peacefully in his sleep on March 26, 2023. Born on June 22, 1928, Milton lived a full and industrious life. Drafted into the Army during the Korean War, Milton was stationed in Fairbanks, Alaska and achieved the rank of SFC.
An avid sportsman, Milton shared his love of the outdoors with Helen, his wife of sixty-two years. Helen joined him in Alaska, and together they hunted moose and Dall sheep and fished the streams for sockeye salmon.
Upon discharge from the Army, Milton and his family settled in Dallas, Texas, where he enjoyed a long and successful career as a general contractor.
Milton loved his bourbon and his Dallas Cowboys and will sorely be missed by all. He is survived by his daughter Milann Smith and his grandson Christopher Smith, both of Dallas. Family and friends will be gathering at a later date to celebrate his life. Burial will be at Georgetown Cemetery.
