Nancy Jan Hubbard Hite, 65, died Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.
She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, relative and friend to all that knew her. Nancy enjoyed many things: any family function, riding motorcycles with her husband Ralph, playing with her dogs and her computer games.
Nancy was born on September 22, 1951 to William H. and Doris Wanda (Clark) Hubbard in Oklahoma City, OK; she was also a longtime resident of Whitesboro, TX, where she met the love of her life, Ralph Hite, Jr. They married on October 14, 1977 and lived life to the fullest. Ralph and Nancy resided in Sherman, TX at the time of her death.
Nancy spent most of her working career in the banking business and held many different positions. After she retired from banking, she worked briefly for Love’s Travel Center in Calera, OK.
The family will receive family and friends on Monday, May 15, 2017 from 6:00-7:00 PM at the First Baptist Church, 601 West Woodard Street, Denison, TX.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Hite, Jr. of Sherman; son Carlos Joe Hefner of Kingston, OK; daughter LaTisha Hite of Sherman; brother Michael Hubbard of Sherman; sister Beverly Johnston of Sherman; grandchildren Joseph Keith Hefner, Lance Tyler Hefner and Garrett Wade Hefner along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, William H. Hubbard; mother, Doris Wanda Mayo; son, Robert Keith Hefner; step-father Frank Mayo; step-mother Reba Collins and brother-in-law David Joe Johnston.
