Nellie Marie Hogan, 90, passed away at her residence in Denison on Saturday, June 14, 2014.
The family will receive friends from 10-11 a.m. Wednesday at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home. The service will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 18, 2014 in the Johnson-Moore Chapel with Reverend Marlin Harp officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery. The family will gather at 905 W. Morton St. in Denison after the services. Serving as her pallbearers will be Robbie Ledbetter, Nigel Douglas, Hero Douglas, Danny Epperson, Mike Downs and Cody Wright.
Nellie was born on May 15, 1924 in Pittsburg, Texas. She was the daughter of Robert Liberty and Grace Lee Merrill Woodfin. She graduated from Ennis High School. Nellie Marie Woodfin and Clifford Gray Hogan were married on May 16, 1955 in Gainesville, Texas. He preceded her in death.
Nellie was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ in Denison.
She is survived by her sons, Clifford Hogan, Donald Hogan and Richard Hogan all of Denison; daughters, Charlotte Thomas and Marlas Williams both of Denison and Marsha Hogan of Austin, Texas; four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Clifford; one brother and two sisters.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.

    So sorry to hear this news,and for the Families lose. Mrs Hogan was a wonderful lady, my family lived next door to them for many years an she was always a very sweet lady. God bless the family in there time of grief.
