Nora Jolene DeJarneatt life was all about family. She was very independent and a very hard worker. She was a caregiver to her mother and was always on the go. Jo was strong and full of life. She was a mother that was there no matter what. She stood by her children through thick and thin. She was a second mother to her grand kids Jennifer Marley and Adam Martin. Jo was Jennifer and Adam’s angel and support system through everything until her stroke in 2015. Jolene’s stoke was very hard for her she went from independent to dependent. The Stroke took a toll on her but like a champ she still smiled, and she walked on her own again. Jo will always be remembered as a beautiful soul that was always there for family, the over gift giver at parties, the mother, grandmother, and great grandmother that did everything she could to help when she could, the grandmother that stepped in the role as mother when needed, a mother-in-law that would console the breaking heart of her daughter-in-law, the sister that loved her sister and bothers, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and nephews with all her heart. Nora Jolene DeJarneatt is flying high and free of all pain. She is with the Lord and a beautiful angel looking down on her whole family. We love you. You will never be forgotten!!!
Family will have a private celebration of life at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.

My mom Jolene was there as a loving mother and friend. Always had the right words of encouragement in the best & the worst of times. Full of Godly wisdom that was always on time at the right time every time. Wouldn’t have made it without her. Thank you God for giving me the perfect mother. Raising 3 low vision to legally blind children is no easy task but God equipped & gave you what you needed. Having 4 loving and caring children with hearts so big with so much love. Mom would tell me things like (in her own words) I thank God for loaning you to me. Those words have more meaning than ever to me. Mom was funny & loved to laugh even being in a care center following her first stroke that nearly took her life 5 years ago her eyes had a glow of heaven. She was ready to go home to heaven after her first stroke but endured until God called her home. We send her love and until we are together again you will be so missed
