Norma McClelland, 89, died on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at Stonebrook Assisted Living in Denison.
Viewing will be from 9 a.m. Friday until family night has concluded at Pottsboro.
Family night will be Friday from 6-7 p.m. at Johnson-Moore Pottsboro Chapel.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Lakeway United Methodist Church with Reverend Dyan Dietz officiating. Interment will be in Oak Grove Memorial Park in Irving.
Norma was born in Council Bluffs, Iowa on March 26, 1928, the daughter of Edwin E. and Ethel Mae Davis Burke. She and Charles Walter “Ike” McClelland were married on October 16, 1949 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He preceded her in death on February 28, 1998.
Norma was a homemaker, member of Lakeway Uniited Methodist Church and a member of Gate City Chapter #77 Order of The Eastern Star. Mrs. McClelland was loved by so many people and she devoted her whole live to her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Foroughi of Denison; granddaughter, Autumn Marie Foroughi of Pottsboro; twin sister, Nadine Novak of Pottsboro; sisters, Mary Robbins of Omaha, NE. and Elizabeth Durfee of Indianapolis, IN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ike and son, Charles Michael McClelland.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lakeway UMC, 15015 N. State Hwy 289, Pottsboro, TX 75076.
Arrangements are under the direction of Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
