Oleta Dorries LeClaire, 83, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013 at Texoma Medical Center.
Visitation will be at 12 Noon, one hour prior to her service on Wednesday.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, July 24, 2013 with Reverend Allen Dorries officiating. Burial will follow in Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
Oleta was born in Kress, Texas on February 28, 1930. She was the daughter of Henry Grady and Alice Poole Dorries. At an early age she moved with her family to Denison and attended Elsmead Elementary School on Shirley Lane. She was married to Milton Toland. He preceded her in death in 1964. She then married Alfred “Frenchie” LeClaire, who preceded her in death on April 11, 1993. She retired from Pillsbury with many years of service, where she worked on the production line making biscuits and cookies and worked as an LVN with the Veteran’s Administration in Bonham. She was a member of the American Legion, Moose Lodge and VFW Auxiliary.
She is survived by her son, Martin Toland and his wife, Hollie of Montgomery, Alabama; brother, Coy Dorries of Watauga, Texas; sister, Christine Verbel of Clovis, New Mexico; two grandsons and four great-granddaughters.
