Ouida Nell Windle, beloved wife, homemaker, cherished mother, and servant of the Lord, passed away on July 21, 2024, in Denison, Texas, on what was her 91st birthday. She was surrounded by her loving family as she peacefully departed this world.

Ouida was born on July 21, 1933, in Greenville, Texas, to John Thomas Walker and Julia Ellen Walker. She married William McKinley Windle Jr. on January 19, 1954, and together they raised a beautiful family. Ouida was the loving mother of Debbi Rice and husband Bill; Mike Windle and wife Diana; Cathy Windle; and step-son Ken Windle III and wife Golden.

Ouida leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth in her 9 grandchildren ,14 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great grandchildren, all of whom she adored dearly. Ouida is also survived by her sister, Billie Sue Fleming and husband Paul. Her family was her greatest joy, and she dedicated her life to nurturing and supporting them.

She was preceded in death by her husband William McKinley Windle Jr. and step-daughter, Connie Rose.

Ouida never met a stranger and loved with all her ability and without judgment. Her kindness, generosity, and deep dedication to Christ, her lord and Savior, was recognized by everyone. She will be remembered fondly by all who knew her for her fun-loving spirit and her ability to bring joy and love to those around her.

Ouida Nell Windle will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of her family and friends. May she rest in peace, reunited with those who went before her, in the eternal embrace of God.

A funeral service will be held at 10 AM, Saturday, July 27, 2024, at First Baptist Church Denison, 601 W Woodard St, Denison, Texas 75020. A burial will follow at Lamasco Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6 to 8 PM, Friday, July 26, 2024, at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home. 631 W Woodard Street, Denison, Texas 75020.

    She was so sweet. Loved when we would see her out and about she would always give me the biggest hug. My mom loved her just as much. She will be missed
