Paul Winters

DENISON, TEXAS
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 3, 2018 at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Denison, Texas for Paul Winters, age 63. of Denison. Father Stephen Mocio will officiate. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Serving as his pallbearers will be: Gary Winters, Chris Winters, Bryan McCuller, Cort Krueger, and Philip Chandler.
Paul Winters died on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at his home in Denison.
Paul was born in El Paso, Texas on March 19, 1955, the son of Joe C. and Diane J. Aubel Winters.
He was a 1973 graduate of Denison High School and graduated with his Bachelor’s degree from East Texas State University, now Texas A&M – Commerce. He and his wife, Terri have been married for 28 years. Paul worked for Texas Instruments and MEMC as a manufacturing supervisor since he graduated from college. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, member of the Sons of the American Legion, Post 231, Lake Texoma, member of the Travis Street Masonic Lodge #117 AF & AM in Sherman, was an avid fisherman and guitar player.
Paul is survived by his wife, Terri Winters; mother, Diane Winters; daughters, Lesa Winters and her husband, Bryan McCuller, and step-daughter, Stephanie Krueger and her husband, Cort; step-son, Philip Chandler and his wife, Shree all of Denison; brother, Gary Winters and his wife, Donita of Pottsboro and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joe C. Winters and sister, Jodie Loofe.
A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 6 p.m. with visitation until 7 p.m. at Johnson-Moore Funeral Home.
