My most sincere sympathy to the Pickle family. Having taught his children in Band, it was apparent that his parenting and guidance was strong on honesty, integrity, and respect. His support and encouragement of his kids participation in band and all things school related was quite apparent. I well remember the trip to San Antonio for Brads’ performance with the ATSSB All State Band and sharing that experience with the Pickle family.

Rick Pickle was a kind and gentle soul. He was a member at the Pottsboro Church of Christ when I preached there (2000-2004). Several times, I used his expertise to help me in my work. I appreciate him and his family very much. I am saddened by his death but I am confident that Rick is now receiving the full benefits and blessings associated with the powerful death of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I pray for his remaining family members, pray that they will remain ever faithful to the cause of our Lord. May God bless them as they mourn.
